Despite losing half of the state champion 2006 squad to graduation, the boys 2007 Cougar cross-country team showed no let up, going undefeated in the regular season, won the Class I (D2) and state championships again, and finished an amazing third in New England.

Senior captain Alex McGrath went undefeated during the regular season and set Class I and state meet records. Fellow seniors Justin and Devon Butler provided depth, while juniors Ethan McBrien and Dylan Fisher ran strong all season.

The 2024 Conval cross-country teams (boys and girls), led by senior standout Will Simard and junior Whitney Adair, take on D2 at this year’s state meet Saturday at Derryfield Park in Manchester.
